www.female-focus.com Shop for MABS and Save Monday 14th May saw MABS Cancer Support Group open their sixth store.
The councillor for Jávea Residents Relations, Oscar Anton, together with Jacqui Philips, MBE, opened the new MABS charity shop at Avenida de Paris 6 in Jávea. The shop which currently offers a wide selection of furniture and household items will eventually be offering second-hand clothes as well. The new shop joins other MABS outlets at La Jara, Muxtamel, San Javier, Totana and Camposol.
A MABS spokesperson said “Whilst these shops are an essential source of funding for MABS they also play a huge part in making life a little bit easier for the needy of society in these tough financial times. We have noticed more and more people of all nationalities using our shops to buy quality used items. Clearly this is a means of stretching their hard earned Euros a little further and is following a trend that is being seen all over Europe, including the UK.”
If any member of the public has individual items that they would like to donate to MABS for sale in the shops then these can be delivered to any MABS shop.
