optic perimeter lights, illuminated jets and music. I will never forget the comments like ‘that will never catch on’ and ‘why would anyone want to listen to music’ and the only thing Chinese was the supper! “SPATEX 2012 was again a very good show for us. The launch of our new Mardi Gras Swimtrainer nine person party spa was a great success with several orders taken for dealer show sites.”

FERMACELL MAKES SUCCESSFUL DEBUT APPEARANCE

Fermacell showcased its high- performance PowerPanel H20 board as part of its debut appearance. David Prout, Marketing Manager at Fermacell, said: “We’re delighted to have made our debut appearance at SPATEX this year. It provided us with a valuable opportunity to

demonstrate the wealth of benefits our Powerpanel H20 boards have to offer, which was a real hit with the visitors throughout the show. “Our PowerPanel H20 boards provide the perfect solution for a wide range of commercial and domestic waterproofing projects such as swimming pools, showers and wet areas. They can also be applied to semi-exposed external applications such as soffits.”

PowerPanel H20, with its high resistance to moisture and mould, is the first choice for use as a tile backer in bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and shower rooms and as a liner for wet areas such as plant rooms. A project where Fermacell has been applied includes the new leisure centre in Evesham, where the partitions around the pools are boarded with Fermacell Powerpanel H20 boards.

Powerpanel H20 is just one of a number of products within Fermacell’s range, which also includes its high performance multi-purpose gypsum fibre board that is a superior alternative to plaster board.
