Alumna Jessica Hughes '08 was featured on
SwampscottPatch.com for designing a mixed media art class for teens at the Swampscott Public Library in August. Hughes teaches in the Lynn schools and is currently taking graduate classes at Salem State University.
Blessing Mazarura '98 has launched a line of clothing under the Bless by Bless label. Based in Boston, Bless By Bless fashions are inspired by rock culture, military style, and medieval standard design. Bless was a sponsor of the North Shore Mall’s September "Fall: In Love With Fashion" event. He was also part of Lisa Glover’s Rolling for Life Charity Fundraiser benefiting the American Cancer Society at the Beverly Roller Palace.

Abstract expressionist, Richard Pawlak '81, exhibited work in Coming Home at The Gallery @ Spencer Lofts, in Chelsea throughout October.
Alison Landoni '93 has participated in Rockport’s New Years Eve event for the past several years with her puppets and music. She is currently an art teacher at Clark School in Danvers, where one of her AP art students, John Plunkett, received a scholarship to attend last year’s Pre-College program at Montserrat.

Kevin Quinn '11 was recently hired for a full time position at Design Communications Ltd. in their fabrication shop. Kevin interned with them while finishing his BFA degree with a concentration in sculpture.
David Scher '98 is partner at JaDa Events LLC, an event management company. He is also the co-founder of the New England Broadcast & Cable Expo, which took place Nov. 2 at the DCU Center in Worcester, and is the President/ Owner of Basics Marketing.

Jennifer Mangini Perry '01 was featured in
WBJournal.com’s 2011 "40 Under Forty." Perry received her BFA in illustration from Montserrat and has been working for Smith & Jones in Sturbridge as a senior designer/visual strategist since 2006. She describes her biggest success as being an artist professionally and realizes how competitive artistic fields are. Perry was also proud to state that she was able to pay off all her student loans by working in the industry in which she majored.
David Schoerner '07, Hassla Books’ founder and publisher, was interviewed by melanie photo blog to discuss why he originally wanted to self-publish, how he started Hassla, which artists he admires, and more.
Meghan Wicks '11 along with student Ashton Alba '14 took part in an Artists in Residence program with the Peabody Historical Society this past summer at Brooksby Farm. Meghan also landed a job at the Manhattan Graphics Center, NYC.
Logan Everett Faerber '09 will be featured in the second installment Hellbound, a horror comic anthology by ROHO Comics and The Boston Comics Roundtable. He has written and drawn a 10 page comic, Grampire, which, in Logan’s words, is about an "old guy vampire."

Rebecca Q Yankes '11 won first place in the 2011 International EPICASE Art & Illustration Competition in October. Rebecca also signed on with Didimdol, a Korea-based children’s educational book publisher, to illustrate five or more ESL learning series books they are launching.
