Female Focus
Parcent’s Autumn Fair
Page 17
Come and visit us on the last weekend in September (24th & 25th) in the middle of the beautiful Vall de Pop; and take part in all the fun of the fair.
We have a full programme of activities and entertainments, including a large number of stalls selling a vast array of products; displays
of dancing, zumba,
and pelota; Heat Gold FM’s famous radio roadshow: painting and photographic competitions and exhibitions; talks on gardening and artistic topics from local experts and celebrities; book readings and signings; and a chess competition.
For the children, there will be a bouncy castle, treasure hunts, a balloon flying competition and lots of other attractions.
The inner man and woman will be more than adequately taken care of: our varied selection of restaurants will be providing special menus; there will be cake and cream tea stalls, burger and bacon butty bars; and of course a chance to sample local wines and tapas at our bodegas.
Music Saturday evening will be provided by the Rates Band and the JM Experience; and on Sunday afternoon, there will be a traditional giant Paella to round off the proceedings.
This Fair is being organised by Creativa, Parcent’s new charity. All profits will go to local needy causes.
