Dr Colin Evans Announced Retirement

After 4 very successful, happy and rewarding years in Albir, Dr Colin Evans has decided to retire in order to spend more time with his family and friends. In those 4 years, he has, with the assistance of his 2 wonderful nurses (Dawn and Amanda), served the medical needs of many residents, and more than a few tourists at his practice: The English Medical Clinic.
I spoke with Dr Colin (as he is affectionately known) about his plans for his retirement. He talked lovingly of his wife, children and grandchildren, and how he really wants to have much more family time. With family here and in Wales, Dr Colin will be coming back and forth to Spain, and will be able to literally enjoy the best of both worlds.
Dr Colin was especially concerned to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all his patients, many of whom have gone on to become personal friends.
Naturally, some patients will be concerned to know what will happen to their medical records. In Spain, there is a requirement for the records to be made available via a registered Abogado (Lawyer).

During our conversation, Dr. Colin wanted to extend his sincere thanks to Dawn and Amanda for their loyal, friendly and professional support and wish them well for their future plans (watch this space).
Finally, Dr. Colin expressly asked me to wish everyone he has had the pleasure of meeting “the same as I’d wish for myself!” I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing Dr. Colin a very healthy and happy retirement, he will be sorely missed.
