Rebcca Gautier o St James Clinic
St James Clinic provides a complete range of treatments - from dentistry and plastic surgery to cosmetic medicine and beauty therapy.

With her husband Jacques she ventured into the world of private medicine four years ago.
BEAUTY IS?
From a purely aesthetic point of view I think healthy clear skin, bright eyes and a lovely smile are important.
Real beauty though must come from within. I have met some very beautiful people who are actually very ugly human beings.
MONEY EQUALS BEAUTY?
No I don’t think it does. Audrey Hepburn is a prime example, she never believed she was beautiful so what hope for the rest of us.
What money can buy is time to relax and enjoy treatments which can enhance our looks and give our self esteem and self confidence a boost.
ISLE BE THERE
I am an Islander and proud of it. I love everything about living here. The Island has lots of natural beauty but it also has charm and old fashioned values which sadly often get lost in larger urban areas.
If I had to pick one beauty spot it would be Forelands beach in Bembridge because it hasn’t changed in 50 years.
BEAUTY ICONS?
Again Audrey Hepburn who in my opinion was the most beautiful women that ever lived. She was a style guru who still influences generations. Her less is more approach to style is one I believe in.
TYPICAL CUSTOMER?
I’m not sure we have one. St James offers such a diverse range of

treatments from the most basic oral healthcare to complete Smile Makeovers, Breast Implants to Beauty Packages and Wrinkle treatments; that I hope we can appeal to everyone, from the mum who brings her toddler for his/her first dental check-up to the client who wants a full ten years younger package.
BEAUTY BLUNDER?
Thinking I could save money by lightening my own hair, big mistake.
It cost me a fortune to get rid of my bright orange locks.
TOP TIPS? I come across many women in my clinic who are using products that don’t suit their skin.

before you embark on buying expensive products.
Our Plastic Surgeon Michael Cadier has also recommended a new product that we’ve introduced to St James. It is the Obagi Nu Derm range and is only available on prescription.
It is an anti-aging therapy that penetrates below the skin’s surface to transform skin cell functions at the cellular level and to correct damage within.
As far as exfoliation methods go, diamond dermabrasion is among the best you can find.
By removing dead skin cells quickly, you’ll revive a dull-looking complexion and also help prevent other types of skin issues such as clogged pores.
Treating delicate areas like those around the eyes and mouth are one of the major advantages of treatments using diamonds instead of crystals.
FACING THE FUTURE?
Nowadays facial aesthetic treatments are not only for the rich and famous.
We offer many treatments which can reverse the ravages of time, such as muscle relaxing injections and dermal fillers, also Cosmocuetical skin care ranges which can slow down the aging process.
Our aim at St James is to make you good for your age.
It is then important that you do your bit to maintain this level by following a regime which includes wearing sunscreen on a daily basis, drinking plenty of fluids and lastly exfoliating.
