WITH natural style and talent, Ebb n Flo are captivating audiences near and far with their own unique blend of roots reggae rock, hip- hop and funk.
Reggae is the main life blood of New
Zealand music, and with four members with NZ heritage, combined with four laidback Aussie east-coasters, Ebb n Flo bring those origins alive with an intoxicating vibe. A gifted circle of musicians, Ebb n Flo have
performed in numerous bands throughout their careers and have shared the stage with luminaries like the Wailers, Diesel, the Beautiful Girls, Bliss N Eso and Newcastle’s own Afro Moses. The debut EP House of Love has attracted
interest and airplay in Hawaii, Canada, Japan and, of course, back home in NZ and Australia. They kicked off the most recent summer with a slot on Coff s Harbour’s Open Arms Festival and backed that up at the sold-out Festival of the Sun in Port Macquarie. Their own short east coast tour, including
a performance in front of 7000 at Waitangi Day celebrations on the Gold Coast, cemented their reputation as the feel-good band of the season. But, Ebb n Flo aren’t about to slow down as
the weather gets cold. They’re coming to Newcastle to kick out some of their Caribbean-inspired tunes at a special free show at the CBD Hotel on Friday, July 8.

FLYING Mare is a four-piece band that loves to entertain. All four members have vast experience
in the live music scene both in Newcastle and overseas. Flying Mare’s repertoire runs the gamut of popular music from the 1960s through to today. On stage, the band incorporates and draws on the musicianship and collective
experience of the band. Crowd interaction, musical humour and a dedication to the pursuit of musical enjoyment is what sets these guys apart from the rest. People say there is no substitute for
