• Extend offers to engage your customers. Offer discounts, online referral codes and special gifts.
• Be private yet accessible. Divulge some information about you but keep it simple and something that has merit. No one truthfully cares of you are going to Home Depot and then taking a nap.
• Be smart. I am not going to lie; I have had a few social media stalkers and people who tried to get a little too comfortable with me. On my Facebook page, you will notice that my information is extremely basic and I am pretty conservative with personal information that I share. Do I worry
about myself having a huge presence online? Absolutely not.
• Stay safe. Many of the social media applications will pull from the GPS on your phone. When you are updating and uploading new applications don’t just continue to click next; be intentional with what you are agreeing to. Several applications, specifically FourSquare and Twitter, will detail your exact locale to your friends, followers, and ‘likers’ automatically.
I invite you to connect with me via social media! Take a look at how I approach the online world and see if my tactics are something that you can see implementing.
Life is full of foggy roads.
We help you find your way to where you want to go.
