The Evolution of Intuition: Past, Present and Future
As we enter this new era and the Divine Feminine energy is returning in full strength, intuitive ability will begin to return to every person here on earth. With this energy returning, we will begin to see a change in how we work, how we treat others and as we balance this restoration, we will create in essence, a new world.
Intuition has been taught before in ancient cultures such as Egypt and Greece. Like all things in life, there are cycles, which we see as we age and in nature with the seasons. The energy on earth cycles from a matriarchal to patriarchal energy and back around again. We have been in a patriarchal era, which has lasted for several thou- sand years. This cycle is ending and the new matriarchal cycle is here. It is truly one of the greatest times to be alive to experience this change in energy. Like any great change, things get messy before they get better and this time is no different as we experience earth changes, economical changes and unrest from humanity at large.
In ancient times, how to use intuition was taught in the mystery schools. These temples were well attended in Greece, where exploration of the mind, body, and spirit connection were taught. One of the most famous was the Temple at Delphi near the Oracles with the esoteric axiom inscribed above the temple door – Man Know Thyself. This was a mental reminder to those who entered the temple, of the first lessons each student endeavored to answer – Who Am I and Why Am I Here? Both questions are the first step in activating the conscious mind into probing deeper in order to connect with one’s higher self and intuition. Mystery Schools of this nature still ex-
ist today teaching the ancient philoso- phies, including my school The Temple of Stella Maris.
Each lesson is introduced to the mind, then experienced through the heart and eventually becomes a permanent part of the soul, carried forth from one lifetime to the next. It could be more accurately described to say that the teachings are absorbed within to gain new life, rather than committed to rote memory. A side effect of study- ing consciousness and the mind, body, spirit connection is that the gift of in- tuition will show itself in each person, allowing each student to connect with themselves and others on a deeper, more personal level.
The goal of a wisdom teacher is to present the core concepts of uni- versal wisdom. The teacher can be viewed as a gardener, planting seeds of knowledge in the mind of the burgeoning student. The student then contemplates and cultivates these thoughts so that the seeds grow and yield fruit. This is referred to as turning knowledge into wisdom, moving from information gathering into action by ap- plying what has been learned into daily life. As the student begins the process of knowing, (gnosis), and awakening, each step leads further inward, gaining momentum along the way leading into a rebirth of the soul, which alters the person on all levels.
The butterfly symbolizes this experi- ence. It begins life in one form as a caterpillar and then engages in a transformative process - going within a cocoon and emerging as a beautiful butterfly. This is how connecting to your spirit and your intuition works, rather than you absorbing them, they take root and absorb into you, forever changing who you are how you view the world. Rather than controlling the garden, you become the garden.

Opening Up to Intuition
These teachings are timeless and con- tinue to be taught in the same manner. As a wisdom teacher, I’d like to share one of the ancient teachings from the mystery temples, which explains in part how we access our intuitive ability.
