Red From page 15
but according to Sera it’s more than that. We haven’t had a face for it yet. It was a natural reaction to shove the red into the corners of our psyche and not deal with this fierce aspect of the feminine. For Sera this red naturally emerged in her, but it was not easy since it wasn’t a slow path, it was a path of fire. She lost so many things in her life as she journeyed to remain true to the red face of the feminine and she knows what she gained in that process is herself.
Putting this into practice in her daily life, although messy and painful, has been a path of love – fierce love – as she integrated the anger and even the sexuality that was evident in this redness she was exploring. As she passionately brought forth this red information, she went through what she calls the red night of the soul. It was getting the nails torn off where the red demanded it, and life, as she knew it fell apart.
One of the biggest changes for Sera was to pay more attention to where she was giving her life force, and that has affected her personal relation- ships. She’s had to look hard at when she was not being truthful with herself. Sera ended many relationships in the past two years, as they were draining her from giving too much. And she recognized the way she was using the red to seduce people, as it’s a very attractive energy, not necessar- ily sexually, but powerful. It demands a ton of personal responsibility and authenticity.
She left two professional projects in the past two years, as the people didn’t feel respectful to her and it was more important for her to be authentic in her work. She took on these proj- ects thinking she’d be fine, and sooner

or later the incongruities started work- ing havoc on her physically or emotion- ally. She realized she needed to drop the sword, which looked like profes- sional suicide, but it was necessary to reclaim her soul. Sera came from a background of being kind, and learned she had to take some strong actions when she noticed all the places where she was misusing the red energy by buying into the mass market game and main stream presentations. She found that when she looked at Her, this redness, she knew she wouldn’t be going much further if she wasn’t being authentic or true to herself.
Putting all this into practice is hard work but it’s empowering, as for Sera it’s recognizing her own inner truth and daring to have the balls to act on it. She admits to her own resistance, as there’s so much fear of stepping into the fire. She is becoming more aware that her soul wants to experience this love that is between her and the divine. Every time she takes a step in this direction, she’s retrieving back a piece of herself that she didn’t know she let go of.
“Do whatever it takes to know yourself, reclaim your soul, develop a relationship with the divine, and everything else comes from that. The Divine Feminine can’t be here without you, you being you, not being some- one else’s idea of the feminine, but you being you and that’s how She comes alive.”
