The Evolution of Intuition

Intuition is an ability given to each of us. Described as the sixth sense, one day it will appear as normal in each per- son as the other five senses that we take for granted. In the past, we used both our instincts and our intuition to survive in the wild. Later, as we focused on developing and incorporat- ing concepts of logical and ordered thinking, intuition was pushed aside and essentially forgotten.
What you don’t use, you lose and this is the case with all abilities includ- ing intuition. The good news is that intuition is a natural part of our genetic design, and we currently use it on a

subconscious level. We experience in- tuition in the body (gut feelings), the mind (creative ideas), the emotions (impulses), and in spirit (hunches and inspiration). When we are using our intuition, we are connecting with the right side of the brain and tapping into our higher consciousness. This process allows us to access ideas and find creative solutions to problems.
Using Intuition in Daily Life
In my work as a wisdom teacher, intui- tive and as one of the Office Oracles, I teach a course entitled Developing Business Intuition. In this course, I show entrepreneurs, visionaries, and small business owners how to tap into their intuition and develop it so that they can create the career or business of their dreams.
Many of them come to me looking to develop their intuition as a business tool, looking for an intuitive edge. As I teach them how to connect with their intuition, they discover new approaches in their work and are able to adapt quickly to change and see

the potential in a wide range of ideas. What they are not prepared for during this process is when they engage with their intuition, their life begins to change on every level, including their personal relationships and the way they feel about the world. They are no longer able to separate their business and personal life, as it becomes appar- ent to them that what they think, say, feel and act upon, affects their energy and the energy of everything around them including: the people they work with, the products they create, and their families and loved ones. No longer is there a separation and they begin to understand that “We Are All One.”
This is a life altering experience, as it is difficult to step into intuition, with- out also stepping into a higher level of consciousness where the world appears in a new light that may not have been seen or considered before. Once they open up to using their in- tuition, personal relationships shift and change, as they become sensitive and empathetic to their spouses, children and complete strangers that they meet each day.
