The Breath of Life Conference I

t is not often that such eminent pioneers at the cutting edge of holistic healthcare are brought together under a single roof to share their ideas and explore how we function, beyond just the physical form. The Breath of Life Conference, to be held in London on 28th and 29th May 2011, features speakers involved in ground breaking research and revolutionary practices in the cranial and allied fields. It will be the sixth bi-annual Conference of its kind and its purpose is to facilitate debate and provide the opportunity for therapists to widen their exposure to new and established approaches to holistic healthcare. This year’s line-up includes Dr. James Oschman, the accomplished biologist, biophysicist and world authority on energy and complementary medicine. He is the author of the ground-breaking books Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis and Energy Medicine in Therapeutics and Human Performance. Oschman will talk about the clinical applications of new discoveries in the field of biophysics and new understandings of human physiology, and will also run a workshop, Energy Medicine, Frequency Medicine and Resonance, to be held in London on 4th and 5th June.

The Conference is also delighted to welcome Nicholas Handoll, the eminent Osteopath and author of several books including The Anatomy of Potency, an examination of quantum physics and how it can help us to understand who we are and the environment in which we live. Handoll will expand on this theme at the Conference in his talk entitled ‘Energy Osteopathy’.

Susan Turner, senior lecturer at the European School of Osteopathy and Sutherland Cranial College, will also speak at the Conference. Her talk entitled ‘Digging On…There Are Always More Potatoes: Stillness, Motion and the Spaces Between’ will explore clinical approaches developed by Dr. Sutherland and which are taught by her today.
