In what is a very crowded self-help book market it is probably not the easiest thing to come up with something that rivals what’s already been done, unless of course you do it better. And actually, I’m not sure what Stefanio has done was already done. She brings a startlingly refreshing take on taking charge of your life, bringing in what you need to assist and how to go about it without having a complete meltdown.
Drawing on both her journalistic skill and her wit, Stefanino has delivered an extremely useful and helpful aid to those of us who need direction and guidance. But actually, even if you think you don’t need any self-help, you would still find a few memory jogs in here that would serve you well.
Although this book is really targeting those in business, I would recommend this book to anyone who is reaching for the stars but has lost the art of navigation. The book is a quick and easy read with loads of tips and tools that can be applied on a daily basis.

What’s great about this book is that Carlyle herself has ridden the highs when she was a top earner, and experienced the crash when she was down to her last buck and had to move back home with her parents. It’s always better taking advice from someone who has experienced the reality of what they are preaching.
In this book Carlyle offers a ‘7 basic steps’ system to becoming a money magnet, and given her background, I suspect she knows a thing or two about it.
Well worth a read, even if you don’t need cash immediately; we can all end up in a place that we may not have envisaged in our life plan!
