Quantum

Quantum Health magazine!

Welcome to the March issue of Happy St Valentine’s day

We have something rather different as our lead article this month, which I hope youíll enjoy as much as we have. Joan Parisi Wilcox, the US editor for Quantum Health interviewed David Trood, an award winning photographer. And whilst it may seem odd that we have interviewed a photographer for our lead article, and for our cover shot, all will become clear. Davidís mission, without giving too much away, was to find the face of humanity using photography, which took him on a year-long journey around the globe taking photographs of men and women from as many ethnic groups as he could. The results speak for themselves.

We are delighted to introduce author Peter Fenner PhD who is a leader in the Western adaptation of Buddhist Wisdom, and it is wisdom that he brings to our pages in the form of an article on Nondual Therapy. This inspiring piece is food for thought and a little nudge to remind us to be who we are, which I think we are often apt to forget in this cut-and-thrust world of chaos.

March in the UK sees the national awareness campaign for prostate cancer and that in turn gives men a little reminder to check out their health. David Hamilton offers some words on how the macho male may be missing out on optimal health if emotions remain pent up and

not expressed. Itís not right to stereotypically portray men in this way, and nor does he, but it is a fact that men can, generally speaking, be pretty poor at visiting the doctor and often see it as a weakness. David looks at why this can be a tendency and how it can be resolved.

We have more from NLP Master Arielle Essex who talks about repeating patterns of behaviour and how to extricate yourself from the pattern, and Yuliya Cohenís piece this month is on addictive urges and tips on how to deal with them, Thornton Streeter brings us more research and this time talks about preventative measures and why health approached should be integrated as many specialists are missing a trick if they donít see all the information available when diagnosing, plus more news on organic issues and of course latest book, DVD and CD reviews.

We hope you enjoy this issue and we look forward to hearing your comments.
