This will be my first in a series of seven articles about everything from planning vaca- tions to booking hotels to travel arrangement to food and enter- tainment. To be fair, I acknowledge I am


not a great planner or an expert on travel. But this vacation did help me


learn what to and what not to do when planning and enjoying a vacation. Usually, most of our trips are to the beach or Disney- World in Florida, but this trip was different in that we stayed in two different places and vis- ited three cities: Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New York City.
