decisive victories, including three shutouts, in North Buncombe Youth Athletic Association football action Saturday (Oct. 2). Te Midgets clinched a playoff
berth in their 36-16 victory. Colby Edwards threw for three touch- downs. Logan Anderson, Dillon McKee and Mason Edwards all caught touchdown passes, and Dy- lan Pressley and David Metts added scores on the ground. Adam Metts scored two touch-
downs in the Termites’ 28-0 vic- tory. Rayce Pickens and Christian
King also scored touchdowns. Metts, Cane Caldwell and Levi Fender, who registered a blocked punt, led the defense. J.J. Taylor had four touchdowns
for the Pups in their 30-0 win. Brandon McKee added a score, and Connor Pressley and Kyle Ander- son had long runs. Caden Higgins, Dawson Fender
and Bradley Braham all scored in the Mites’ 24-0 victory. Te regular season ends Saturday
