Jumo refines its strategy for quality-driven growth

components. The original transport system is

another highly innovative feature that has a positive impact on the thermal stability in the process zone. The stepchain guides are carried by endless steel cables, which are spanned with a tensile force of 1.5 tons throughout the entire system. This allows for precise parallel transport while using extremely low-mass stepchain guides that do not thermally affect the board’s boundary areas. A similar principle applies to the center support, making it ‘thermally invisible’ as well. “We were convinced by this patented transport system with excellent centre support and outstanding parallel profile alignment,” adds Rößner. Advanced flux management that cleans

the process gas allows for long service intervals—another benchmark criterion met by the SEHO MaxiReflow. All of the heated zones are directly connected to the system for cleaning the process gas. The removed process gas is guided to the cleaning station inside the hot area to ensure controlled condensation. The cleaning system itself is the first cold spot that the process gas reaches—a modern and efficient separation cyclone.

Complete Satisfaction Line managers at Jumo praise the reflow system’s ease of use and low maintenance as well as the knowledgeable SEHO support staff. SEHO offers a broad range of seminars including comprehensive knowledge of processes in every area of automated soldering as well as detailed machine know-how. The aim is to improve product quality and profitability in the area of electronics assembly.

A close and

intensive cooperation with SEHO’s competency centers made it possible to integrate the new technologies seamlessly into the manufacturing concept of the Fulda- based company. Rößner

concludes: “SEHO supports the same quality requirements

SEHO MaxiReflow.

that we do. This technological partnership serves us well and allows us to face today’s and tomorrow’s market requirements very flexibly.”
