Jumo refines its strategy for quality-driven growth

included: • Temperature stability • A low-wear and low-maintenance machine concept

• A system partnership (reflow, wave and selective soldering)

• A convincing service package including training opportunities • A technological partnership

The efficiency of the thermal transfer and the temperature stability in the oven was the most important part of the benchmark testing. While numerous reflow systems fell short in this respect, SEHO’s MaxiReflow 3.6 achieved very good results. The system has multiple heating zones, which make it possible to control time over liquids and Delta T (ΔT) on the board without changing other crucial parameters, such as transport speed or preheating temperatures. “Individual control of the different

zones makes it possible to create a flat peak at comparatively low temperatures, which results in a small Delta T and simultaneously minimizes the thermal stress on the board,” explains Rößner. “The dimensioning of the MaxiReflow’s

fan systems is unique because it is very powerful.” With the MaxiReflow, SEHO uses proven tangential blower technology. High gas throughput at

moderate flow rates ensures an efficient and homogeneous thermal transfer toward the PCB, reducing the temperature differences between more and less massive
