Pool Vision Contest. This contest was instigated in 2008 and is organised in collaboration with the Créapole design school and the Dezinéo consultancy. The jury, made up of professionals from the sector (Hydrosud, Mondial Piscines, Dell, Astral, Hayward, etc.), met three times between March and June 2010 to guide the young designers in their projects and select the prizewinners. In order to become a leader in a given market, a company needs to anticipate future trends in its sector. The Pool Vision will present swimming pools of the near or more distant future. The exhibition organisers also gave carte blanche to Créapole design students to imagine tomorrow’s pool builder’s equipment and showrooms, creating new development prospects for visitors and exhibitors. The most innovative projects will be awarded a Pool Vision Trophy during the show. For the Pool Vision Contest, the students majoring in product design at the Créapole school pushed their imaginations and creativity to the limit as they vied with each other to dream up the swimming pools of tomorrow. Five of the 36 young designers received an award: • Emeline Wante for the “Aqually” project • Olivier Siodmak for the “Screenliner” project • Anthony Hunckler for the “Water Light” project • Marie Odinot for the “Pool Labo” and “Touch” projects

• Edward Battistini for the “Bamboo” project

This year a new category was added in parallel with the Pool Vision Contest: the Pool Vision Show Room. Young designers who are currently in their fourth year and majoring in interior architecture were asked to help distributors lay out and decorate their swimming pool showroom and stay alongside them as it developed. Three students were selected for the originality of their products: • Marine Maurice for the “4 saisons” project • Charlène Ménager for the “Pool Nomad” project • Michael Dos Santos for the “Atelier” project
