Flo was fortunate to discover the National Foundation for Transplants, a 26 year old non-profit organization in Memphis, Tennessee, that has been assisting her with the planning and running of fundraisers in her own community to help cover
some of these costs. The NFT trains and as-
sists Flo’s committee of volunteers with materi- als, ideas and publicity. These volunteers then put together yard sales, work with local restaurants and civic groups to put on fundraising dinners, and organize an annual Walk- A-Thon in downtown La- conia. Funds raised are
