olonel Robert Dunn has assumed command of the 920th

Base in Tucson, Arizona. He received his commis- sion in 1978 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Kent State University in Ohio, from which he received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering Technology. He later spent 10 years on active duty as a pilot. He entered the Air Force Reserve in 1990 and has since seen duty in Air Force


Systems Command, Pacific Air Forces, Tactical Air Command, Air Combat Command, Air Force Special Operations Command and Headquarters Tenth Air Force as a unit training officer, instructor pilot, flight examiner, flight commander, operations officer and director of safety. Dunn is a command pilot with more than 5,500 hours in fixed-wing aircraft


and helicopters. u


DR. JAMES PALERMO NOW CMO OF NEW HEALTH FIRST SYSTEM

ames V. Palermo, M.D., who has served as Health First’s vice president of quality management and chief quality


officer for the past eight years, has been named the first chief medical officer (CMO) for Health First’s integrated health care system. He will continue to direct a compre- hensive approach across Health First to clinical quality, patient safety and performance improvement and will work with physicians to identify and collaborate on health care redesign and care management models. Palermo previously practiced general and vascular surgery for 18 years at Cape Canaveral Hospital, where he served as


president of the medical staff as well as chairman of the board of directors. He earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri and his Master’s Degree in Medical Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. Palermo also will serve as a desig- nated officer of Health First, Inc. u
