DEFINITY line of LED light bulbs, which provide consumers approximately 50 percent more lumens (light output) than competing products, at a dramatically lower retail price. Lighting Science Group claims their
American-made DEFINITY LED A19 bulb has a longer life and retails at approximately half the suggested retail price ($20 vs. $40) of GE’s recently announced, but not available until later this year, Energy Smart A19 bulb that will be made in China. “The DEFINITY line sets a new

TRDA’S SATOP PROGRAM PROVIDES HELP TO SMALL TECH BUSINESSES

he Technological Research and Development Authority’s
(TRDA’s) Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) now provides free assistance to small busi- nesses with technical challenges through the expertise of the program’s alliance partners – more than 25 aerospace companies and universities. SATOP is a free, cooperative program
between economic development organizations in New Mexico (Regional Development Council), New York (Syracuse Chamber of Commerce), Texas (Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership), and Florida (TRDA). It is a service designed to provide techni- cal assistance and speed the transfer of space technology to the private sector.
