ttorney Mark R. Malek, managing partner of Zies, Widerman & Malek, was admitted May 3
to practice before the United State Supreme Court. Malek traveled to Washington D.C. and was
briefed by retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William K. Suter, Supreme Court clerk, before being admitted on the motion of John J. Flynn, III, executive vice presi- dent and general counsel of Americans for Prosperity. He was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. Malek is a registered patent attorney who focuses
his practice on representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, counseling inventors and businesses on various intellectual property strategies, licensing intellectual property, and works extensively with international clients.u
