Travel Scotland Ltd. The X22 bus service from Greenock to Clydebank

will take in Bishopton and Langbank from Monday 29th June. The

service will provide a direct public transport link across the River
Clyde and will now serve the villages of Langbank and Bishopton.
Across the river the service will stop near the Golden Jubilee Hospital
and at Clydebank College. This would be an hourly service with a
2-hourly service operated on a Sunday. The service – which has
received a grant from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport – will run
for at least four years and the buses will be the new easy to use, low
floor model, equipped with CCTV.
Scottish Travel are also considering a service to Loch Lomond Shores
in the summer and a pilot scheme running from Langbank through
Bishopton to Glasgow Airport/Braehead/Glasgow City Centre.
