Procedure: Add the Versene Na2 Crystals and the Keltrol CG-SFT into the deionized water of phase A with moderate propeller agitation at room temperature. Heat to 55˚C-60˚C and add the Veegum HV. Mix with moderate propeller agitation to

completely hydrate the Keltrol CG-SFT and the Veegum HV. Continue heating to 70˚C, then shift to homomixing to activate the Veegum HV. In a separate vessel, combine the Floraesters K-20W Jojoba and the Glycerine 99.7% USP Kosher. Add to the mixed ingredients of phase A. In the separate vessel, mix ingredients of phase B at 70˚C. Add phase B into phase A with rapid propeller agitation to make an emulsion. Start cooling and add phase C at 35˚C-40˚C.

Procedure: Add the Versene Na2 Crystals to the deionized water with moderate propeller agitation and mix until completely dissolved. While heating to 75˚C-80˚C, add the remaining ingredients of phase A in the order listed with moderate propeller

agitation. In a separate vessel, mix all ingredients of phase B. While heating to 75˚C-80˚C, mix with moderate propeller agitation until uniform. Add phase B to phase A with rapid propeller agitation at 75˚C-80˚C. Add phase C to phase AB with rapid propeller agitation at 75˚C-80˚C to achieve pH 6.5-7.5. Cool phase ABC to 45˚C-50˚C. Add phase D to phase ABC with moderate propeller agitation at 45˚C-50˚C to achieve pH 4.8-5.0. Add phase E to phase ABCD at 40˚C-45˚C and cool to room temperature. Add phase F when the batch has cooled to room temperature.
