the printed siding, roofing, and window panels from the pages. It’s a good idea to run the point of a black felt-tip marker along the cut edges to keep the white copier pa- per from showing once mounted on the structure.

It finally was time to bring the foamcore mock-up to life! I started with the roof and used a straight edge to draw lines as guides for mounting the pieces of printed building materials. Pieces When all the pieces had been cut, I sorted them and began placing them onto the structure, test- fitting them in prepara- tion for gluing. A black felt-tip marker was run along the edges of the paper to hide the white.

ed pieces print-side-down on some scrap cardboard and paper towels and sprayed them with a light, even coat of 3M Scotch brand Super 77 multi- purpose spray adhesive. The spray adhesive allows a slight bit of repositioning once on the foamcore, but any repeated moving or sliding can wrinkle or tear the paper. With the roof, I started at the bottom and worked my way to the peak, slightly overlapping each subsequent section until totally covered. I did not apply the print- ed siding material in areas where the large banks of

Adhesive Scotch Brand Super-77 spray adhesive was used to coat and adhere the paper pieces to the foamcore base. Care must be taken because you have little to no time to reposition the paper pieces. The spray adhe- sive is just too tacky.
