TOP TIP 9 Volvo

Re-handling Buckets

increase the fuel

efficiency of Wheeled Loaders

For applications where the product is simply being re-handled, Volvo has produced a new range of buckets in order to enhance the performance and efficiency of the package. These can be used in applications from crushed rock through to free-flowing light materials, as bucket capacities can be tailored to material density.

● Optimized shape for re-handling gives faster, more efficient bucket fill and up to 10% better fuel efficiency

● Spill guard for less spillage ● Side cutters in line with bucket sides and optimised shape of wear plate for longer service life

● Fewer pockets where material can get stuck ● Available with optional Bolt-on edge (BOE) ● Wear plates and bucket shell made of HB400 steel ● BOE and bucket edge made of HB500 steel ● Only to be used in conjunction with BSS (Boom Suspension System), L3 / L4 tyres and the additional re-handling counterweight
