For travel management companies to stay ahead of the game and deliver high service levels while utilising efficiencies and best practice, they need to combine leading edge technology with innovation. This gives them the essential versatility and flexibility to respond to a rapidly-evolving marketplace, driven by the changing needs of customers and the pace of relentless technological change.

WITH THIS IN MIND, the GTMC and Travelport have created an awards programme to recognise TMCs who are using technology to drive innovation in their businesses. The award will be presented three times a year. “We are delighted to

announce that the first winner for 2014 is Key Travel,” says CEO of the GTMC Paul Wait. “Key Travel has developed dedicated technology, KT-MOM, that

responds to the particular needs of its non-profit clients, and delivers a comprehensive and streamlined service through a series of easy-to-use, integrated tools. It has taken the best elements of existing options and injected insight and innovation to produce a truly inventive solution. Key Travel is a deserving winner.” “We are thrilled to be recognised by such a highly respected group for our

devotion to improving our customers’ experience through innovation,” says CEO of Key Travel, Spence Knudson. “This award further validates our creative approach to service and technology, and we will continue to build upon these strengths for the benefit of our customers.”
