Free educational programme
BeautyUK will host a free two-day education programme, which all show visitors can take advantage of. Sunday will see a programme of business seminars, including Carina Fagan of VTCT outlining the new European and British Standard for Beauty Salon.
The programme will also host seminars over the two days covering a range of therapy topics presented by key speakers fromDermalogica, Sienna X, Crystal Clear and Habia to name but a few.
Feature areas
As well as an exhibition of over 500 brands, the BeautyUK experience offers a range of inspirational feature areas including free of charge educational opportunities to quench your thirst for knowledge. Keep an eye out for news on who’ll be speaking in the BeautyUK seminar programme, and which treatments you can see demonstrated on the Guild News Demo Stage.
There’ll also be a wealth of expert advice on hand ranging fromhow to build your business through to filling your skills gaps fromthe Habia Skills Teamand their educational experts in the Habia Education Zone.
If you’re looking for some creative inspiration, pay a visit to the BeautyUK competition areas, where the annual UK Nail Tech competition will be taking place with nail technicians from across the country competing to be named UK Nail Tech 2014. Plus, see the inaugural National Make-up Artist competition where UK-based MUAs are invited to showcase their talents and win this prestigious title.

This year all money raised will go to LOROS, a regional hospice which offers complementary therapies to hospice in-patients and day therapy patients.
In addition, BeautyUK is always keen to support tomorrow’s beauty talent and theWest Midlands’ heat ofWorldSkillsUK will once again return – with students from local colleges competing for a place to represent their region in theWorldSkillsUK final.
