InSinkErator drives advertising forward InSinkErator, inventor of the food waste disposer and major player in the steaming hot water taps market, has extended its advertising campaign to include three black cabs in central London. The taxis are fully liveried with InSinkErator branding, with images of the company’s latest print, online and Channel 4 television advertising campaign, which highlights the company’s food waste disposal units and hot water taps. The initiative puts the InSinkErator brand in front of an audience of up to 10.5 million adults. Ashley Munden, managing director, Europe for InSinkErator, said: “Branding London’s black taxi cabs with InSinkErator offers us excellent exposure, especially to support our current TV campaign. Project Kitchens opens showroom


Nolte to exhibit at kbb German manufacturer Nolte Küchen will be exhibiting its new handleless kitchen – MatrixArt – at kbb Birmingham this year. The kitchen is made 100% handle-free by incorporating the trim into the carcass. But, in true Nolte Küchen style, there are more options to achieve ‘the look’ depending on individual requirements. MatrixArt is the culmination of years of research. The evolution of handleless design at Nolte Küchen began back in 2009 when MatrixLine was launched. Drawing its name from the harmonious linear appearance of the underlying Matrix 150 grid which it emphasised, this new design looked like a handle-free kitchen, but actually featured a top-mounted trim G570/G571 on the reverse of the fronts. This meant that many existing ranges could be turned into MatrixLine variants for a vast choice of colours and finishes throughout the price groups. Project Kitchens, the national contract supplier of SieMatic kitchens to the housebuilding industry, has launched its new showroom to its suppliers and partners with an open-house event. Attended by industry heads, including the export director for SieMatic, Roy Oldfield, and the managing director of SieMatic UK, Bernard Otulakowski, guests were treated to an exclusive viewing of the showroom, which features five sensational displays of the SieMatic product along with a meeting space, sample selection area and a laboratory. Local award win for Kensa Ground source heat pump manufacturer Kensa Engineering has been crowned Business of the Year at the Western Morning News Awards. Announced in front of a crowd of over 330 south-west business leaders and innovators, the title of Business of the Year coincides with Kensa celebrating its 15th anniversary. Kensa Engineering’s Shoebox heat pump, the smallest and quietest ground source heat pump in the world, was also shortlisted for Innovation of the Year at the awards. “In the last five years we have seen Kensa’s turnover increase fivefold, and staff numbers increase by a third


in 12 months,” said managing director Simon Lomax. “This performance is made even more remarkable due to the overall ground source heat pump market declining during this period due to delays in government subsidy programmes.
