15 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Tour starts Managua. Day 2 Wildlife Travel to the Pacifi c coast, to Natural Reserve Isla Juan Venado. Cruise through the mangrove forests searching for crocodiles and wild birds. Day 3 Climb an active volcano Trek on Cerro Negro. Days 4/5 Surfi ng Visit the colonial city of Leon. Learn to surf on Pacifi c Ocean waves at Playa Los Cardones. Visit a local school and learn about everyday life of the school children. Days 6/7 Stay on a volcanic island Travel by boat across Lake Nicaragua to the volcanic island of Omotepe and swim in the sheltered bays. Visit a small farm at the foot of Maderas Volcano. Day 8 Zip-wiring Back on the mainland experience zip-wiring through tree-top canopies in Mombacho Volcano National Park.

Day 9 Market and wildlife Tour the city of Granada and take part in a chocolate workshop. Visit the popular Masaya market, a major centre for arts and the impressive Masaya Volcano National Park. Day 10 Cycling and kayaking Cycle to Puerto Asese and kayak through some of the myriad of islands on Lake Nicaragua. Days 11/14 Caribbean Island Fly to Corn Island. Enjoy swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. Return to Managua. Visit Chocoyero Natural Reserve and search for monkeys and parakeets in the tropical forests. Days 15 Tour ends in Managua.
