9 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour Cairo. Day 2 Pyramids Discover the Sphinx and the magnifi cent Great Pyramids of Giza. Visit the Egyptian Museum, home to Tutankhamun’s famous mask. Take an overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Day 3 Aswan Sightseeing and relaxing by the hotel pool, enjoy a traditional dinner with a local Nubian family. Day 4 Abu Simbel Opportunity to visit this enormous and superb temple. Day 5 Camel Trek Travel by camel to St Simeon’s Monastery before boarding the Nile riverboat for a three-day voyage down river to Luxor. Day 6 Edfu Temple Sail to Esna and visit Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon

god Horus and Edfu Temple en route. Day 7 Luxor We pass through Esna Lock this morning and arrive in Luxor in the afternoon. Relax by the hotel pool or haggle in the market. There is the option to visit Karnak Temple by horse-drawn calesh. Day 8 Valley of the Kings This morning we visit the Hatshepsut Temple complex and the captivating Valley of the Kings. Then we have the chance to enjoy an adventurous donkey trek past farmland and mud brick villages. Day 9 Tour ends Luxor.
