15 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Tour starts Havana. Day 2 Old Havana Explore the vibrant streets of Cuba’s capital city in a 1950s American car. Enjoy a lesson in Salsa dancing. Days 3/4 Vinales Discover the lively town of Vinales. Explore the dramatic limestone ‘mogote’ scenery with a local guide and learn how the famous Cuban cigars are made. Options include a visit to the large cave system Cueva del Indio or a trip to the island of Cayo Levisa. Days 5 Soroa Drive to Soroa where we visit an orchid garden. Option to walk to a local waterfall. Day 6 Jungle Pools Swim in jungle pools, hike through forest trails and take an optional ‘zip-wire’ through the trees at Las Terrazes. Days 7 Bay of Pigs Travel to Cienfuegos. Visit Cuevas de los Pesces, where there is an opportunity to swim, and the Playa Giron (Bay of Pigs) Museum en route.

Day 8 Cienfuegos City tour of this colonial town. Free afternoon. Option to take a boat trip in the local bay. Days 9/10 Mountain Forests Travel to the mountains of Topes de Collantes National Park. Explore this wild area with a local guide and spend two nights camping in the grounds of haciendas. Days 11/13 Beach Time Stay on the golden beach near to the colonial town of Trinidad. Explore the winding streets and markets of the town. Swim in the warm turquoise seas. Optional activities include a catamaran trip to the deserted island Cayo Blanco. Day 14 Havana Drive back to the capital city. Visit Che Guevara’s Mausoleum in Santa Clara en route. Day 15 Tour ends in Havana.
