Your Co-op Connections Card Can Make Wishes Come True

Christmas decora- tions have been on store shelves for weeks now, but the year’s busiest shopping season kicks into high gear this month.

NFEC offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in recogni- tion of the Thanks- giving holiday. Please call 1-800- 668-6587 to report an outage.

As you make your Christmas list and devel- op your holiday budget, don’t forget your Co-op Connections Card. The card is free and a privilege of being an owner-member of an electric cooperative. It is accepted locally at busi- nesses throughout our service territory as well as across the country. You can receive discounts and special offers from merchants, service providers, flo- rists, amusement parks, discount clubs, restau- rants, hotels and motels, and rental car agencies. Many participat- ing businesses have the Connections Card decal on their door or near the

cash register, but if you don’t see the decal, be sure to ask if they accept the card.

The easiest way to

learn about the advantages of membership and the Co-op Connections Card is to visit the website at www.connections.coop and browse the offers, incentives and discounts. A search feature lets you enter your zip code and the product or service you are looking for and gives you

a list of participating retailers. If you are a retailer who is inter- ested in participating in the Co-op Connections Card program, please contact Kenny Waugh at NFEC, at(580) 928-3366.

The card is free for NFEC mem-

bers, it doesn’t expire, there are no charges or fees, and any member of your family can use it. It almost sounds too good to be true, but in this case it is for real.

It is just one more way Northfork Electric and other Touchstone Energy cooperatives are partnering with you to make life better.
