Do We Know About Your Life Support Equipment?
I
f someone in your household relies on elec- trically-powered, life-support equipment,
your account should have a special designation in Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative’s records. NEOEC includes a special notation in its
member information system for those requiring life-support equipment. Your help is needed to keep this information current. If a power outage is planned for line mainte-
nance or construction, members with life-saving equipment will receive an advanced warning of the outage, along with the anticipated length of time the power will be off . If power is inter- rupted due to a storm or other event, line crews will be able to give priority to homes listed with life-support equipment. If you are a member with life-support equip-
ment in use in your home, contact the coopera- tive at 800-256-6405 to request a form to register your equipment. T e form must be completed by your physician and returned to the cooper- ative. It could mean the diff erence between life and death. ■
