SMTAI Co-Locates with IPC Standards Meetings
Fort Worth, TX — SMTAI 2013 is scheduled for October 13-17, 2013 for the conference, and October 15-16, 2013 for the Exhibition. It is being held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, in Fort Worth, Texas. Co-located with the SMTAI will
be the IPC’s Fall Committee Stan - dards Development Meetings from October 12 to 17, 2013. This is an opportunity to contribute to the industry standards and guidelines that your company, customers and suppliers rely on by participating in the IPC Standards Development Committee Meetings.
Opening Keynote Session The opening keynote session of
this year’s SMTAI will feature Lockheed Martin’s Bob D. DuLaney, USAF Major General retired, whose topic will be “F-35 Lightning II: The Centerpiece for 21st Century Global Security”. Speaking on Tuesday, October 15 from 8:00 to 9:30am dur- ing breakfast, General DuLaney will provide a terrific presentation about the F-35 program. The F-35 Lightning II is a 5th
Generation fighter, combining ad - vanced stealth with fighter speed and agility, fully fused sensor information, network-enabled operations and ad - vanced sustainment. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor. The F- 35 is responsible for more than 125,000 direct and indirect jobs, making it the single largest job generator in the Department of Defense program budg- et. General DuLaney joined Lockheed Martin in August 2007 after a 33-year career in the United States Air Force.

Particle Accelerator Conference in Pasadena
Pasadena, CA — The 25th North American Particle Accelerator Conference is being held from September 30 through October 4 at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, California. NA-PAC’13 will bring together
