Compact SMD Fuse from Schurter
Santa Rosa, CA — Schurter is expanding its successful UMF 250 SMD fuse series with nine additional rated currents. The extension com- pletes the series with a total of four- teen rated currents, ranging from
ratings and voltages. The UMF 250 is suited for pri-
mary and secondary protection on SMD circuit boards. Applications of the device include, power supplies, medical and lighting equipment as
SMD fuse.
500mA to 10A. The compact, quick- acting SMD fuse now provides over current and short circuit protection in primary and secondary circuits for an even wider range of applications. The UMF 250 fuse is suitable for voltages up to 250VAC and 125VDC. It has a high breaking capacity of up to 200A at rated voltage. The 3 x 10.1mm surface mount fuse is a com- pact SMD alternative to traditional 5 x 20 mm cartridge fuses. The loca- tion of the markings on the square shaped fuse displays important spec- ifications such as approvals, current
well as electronic devices used in the home and in industry. The halogen- free fuse conforms to RoHS and is compatible with lead-free soldering processes. The UMF 250 has VDE and cURus approvals. It is interna- tionally recognized according to the IEC 60127-4 standard as a universal modular fuse (UMF) link for use
around the world. Contact: Schurter Inc., 447
