New business opportunity As part of the celebrations to mark its milestone 50th year, Arbil is set to hold several events to thank its customers, suppliers and staff.

Arbil Rail
A division of Arbil, Arbil Rail produces and sources a vast range of specialist rail products that are, according to Bergin, ‘designed and manufactured to be the toughest and most durable available today’.
The company has branches in the West Midlands, Coventry and Bristol to support the
nationwide sales, service and hire of a vast rail product portfolio which includes stock holding. Arbil Rail remains one of the leading suppliers of rail maintenance equipment within the UK.
Solutions for the rail industry Arbil Rail has built up a wealth of experience in the manufacture of complete product lines such as the Zwicky™ range of hydraulic track jacks and a full offering of sleeper handling beams. It also designs and manufactures large-scale, one-off bespoke fabrications. Bergin continued: ‘Whatever the

Arbil Rail product development has been carried out in response to a
safety critical request from a leading rail contractor. The
request was met with
the production of the Pandrol Safety Hook.
Pandrol Safety Hooks The Pandrol Safety Hook features a self locating latch mechanism to enable safe and secure sleeper lifting and handling. Based around a modified version of the standard Pandrol hook, this updated version completely eliminates the possibility of incorrect use, and any potential for the hooks to disengage during
