Streamlined production process sees Ansmann take axe to prices

New four-year warranty for Ansmann pedelecs  Company receives ‘Best of 2013’ Award for electrical engineering  Price reduction for MTBs, folding bikes, ladies and gents bikes following streamlining By Jonathon Harker

ANSMANN HAS trimmed the prices of its range across the board, from 11 per cent to 16 per cent. Following a recent reassessment of

manufacturing costs and a production process streamline, the brand has made savings that it is passing on to customers. The firm said: “We are maintaining the same high quality product and this combined with our recent extension of manufacturer warranty, we believe, makes for a compelling proposition.” Those reductions include 13 per cent

off Wave city bikes, 11 per cent off ladies models, 11 per cent off gents bikes, 16 per cent off MTBs and 11 per cent off folders. The firm recently received the “Best of

2013” title for electrical engineering at the Industry Award 2013. More than 1,200 companies were entered this year across 14 categories. Ansmann AG won the panel over with its virtually silent front hub motor design. Ansmann has also extended its

warranty period for its ‘pedelecs’, which it expects to be a winner with consumers, as the battery and the motor the most expensive wear and tear items supplied with an electric bike.
