MOJO SUSPENSION This Core Bike exhibitor was founded in 1996. The UK’s only Fox authorised warranty and service centre, Mojo prides itself on its fast turnaround times and parts inventory.


TF TUNED Last year’s winner in this category, independent suspension specialist TF Tuned offers expert service and repair, including setting up and supplying spares.


VELOTECH Providing a range of services, Velotech offers training courses with a strong emphasis on practical learning, as well as being a Campagnolo approved service centre.


STAR STORE


18 BIKES, DERBYSHIRE Hope, Derbyshire-based 18 Bikes specialises in custom builds, now including custom-built steel frames. It has won two Singletrack Reader’s awards and holds an extensive demo fleet.


ACTION BIKES, WHITTON Switched on to its local community, Action Bikes has helped put the fun back into cycling for locals, whether fund-raising, getting Santa on a bike or many other eye-catching bike events.


BELLS BICYCLES, HASTINGS Offering vintage bikes and repair for the good people of Hastings, Bells has impressed Mystery Shopper among others, enthusing those coming through the door about the world of cycling.


CONDOR CYCLES, LONDON It would be easy for a store like Condor to sit back on its laurels, but that’s not the case with the retailer which has switched its focus to a few niche brands like Brompton and Airnimal, primarily selling its own Condor bikes now.


EVANS CYCLES, WATERLOO CUT This newly refurbed shop first opened in ‘77, then the first of a new breed of Evans stores. The flagship outlet has a strong tradition in road and touring bikes, but now has a broader appeal.


GIANT, RADLETT Located in London’s affluent commuter belt, this Giant store offers a highly tailored service to customers. It also finds time to back sponsored riders and charity and school activities.

Handling Whyte, Marin, Mezzo and Wilier, ATB had its best two weeks trading in 25 years in September. Amazingly, Marin has been with the firm since 1987 – surely the longest relationship in bike trade history?


CSG UK CSG’s bike portfolio reads like a wish list of top brands; Charge, GT, Cannondale, Mongoose, Schwinn and We The People. The firm is no stranger to a BikeBiz Award win, either.


MADISON With Saracen, Genesis and Ridgeback inside its portfolio, Madison has helped drive sales through a wide ranging sponsorship programme, not least with its Genesis road team.


MOORE LARGE Forme has seen turnover increase 105 per cent, while the likes of Haro will be benefitting from the new appointment of Paul Stewart as Bicycle Director. In-house design has been a factor in boosting the bike brands too.

UPGRADE BIKES Upgrade has been an original designer of its own Kenesis for 13 years and of DMR complete bikes for eight. Long-term athlete sponsorship and in-house design have aided sales performance. Upgrade also distributes Pivot.

HOTLINES Through supporting a number of sponsored riders, Hotlines bangs the drums for the likes of Nukeproof, Lapierre and NS Bikes through them and wide-reaching ad camaigns.


I-RIDE i-ride brings bike brands Eddy Merckx, Argon 18 and De Rosa to the nation’s cycle retailers. Team i-ride attends many events over the season, blogging and taking those brands to customers.


MADISON Madison’s high profile Genesis team has put the brand in front of an ever-larger number of consumer noses. Likewise the Saracen DH team has been spreading the word.


MOORE LARGE Each ML bike brand – from Haro to Premium Social and Forme – has exclusive sponsorship, comprehensive POS and budget. Most notably, Forme has seen sales go ballistic.


RALEIGH The only bike company named in the ‘Superbrand’ survey, Raleigh’s bike portfolio – Raleigh, Diamondback, Haibike and Dahon – has found its way into the national press and fashion press alike.


UPGRADE With a dedicated in-house marketing and design team, Upgrade has been marketing DMR and Kinesis UK with confident print and online campaigns as well as sponsored riders. US brand Pivot Cycles is handled by the team too.


PARTS AND ACCESSORIES: SALES TEAM


2PURE POC, Clif Bar, Niterider and Lizard Skins are part of the expanded 2pure P&A portfolio (following the Chocolate merger), which is now far more comprehensive across road aswell as MTB.


FISHER OUTDOOR LEISURE Fisher looks after SRAM’s entire portfolio, plus own brands Union 34 and Vavert, and Troy Lee, Santini... all combining for one of the most comprehensive portfolios in the trade.


ISON The ever active Ison has picked up distribution for Pure and even Wideopen MTB mag in the past few weeks. They join stalwarts like Deluxe, Halo and Gusset.


MOORE LARGE Another distributor with a vast, far reaching P&A line-up, ML has seen consistent growth in the last five years, boosted by knowledgable and experienced internal and field sales teams.


SILVERFISH EVOC, Raceface, Formula, Spiuk and e*thirteen are among the best known brands looked after by Silverfish, boosted further by the newish DVO and supported by an expanded team at Silverfish HQ.
