TRAVEL COUNSELLORS rewarded
it top-performing Gold agents with a weekend in Abu Dhabi. More than 100 agents from the UK, Ireland, Holland, South Africa and Australia were treated to a stay at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel with trips to Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World and the Yas Marina F1 circuit. The number of TCs hitting Gold was offi cially its highest ever – 146 globally.
CARIBBEAN sunshine came to Croydon this June when Destination Representation held an agent training event based in the city's Tiger Tiger bar. In attendance were 35 agents from Thomas Cook, Virgin Holidays and Travel Counsellors, amongst others. Sponsors for the evening of workshops, rum punches and Caribbean nibbles were the Dominican Republic Tourist Board, Hard Rock Hotels, Sandals, Buccament Bay Resort, St Vincent & the Grenadines Tourist Board, AM Resorts, Barcelo Hotels and Caribbean Airlines. There was a 'Weakest Link' gameshow and Esther from Virgin Holidays won a Sandals fam trip!
Florida fun times
A RECENT fam to Fort Myers and A B
Sanibel, Florida, was attended by Visit USA Gold Ambassador agent, Sharon McConway from North American Travel Services, plus representatives of Tui, Your Golf Travel, THG Holidays, American Holidays and Funway. The group stayed in the new Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village near Fort Myers, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Caloosahatchee River and San Carlos Bay. The group enjoyed the relaxed nature of the destination, great service and the beauty of the islands and beaches. They also found time to shop for bargains at the Miromar Outlets.
