he event will attract up to 200 agents and travel partners for a fun and informative get-
together themed around one of the most colourful and iconic activities of the Far East region.
Teams of 12 will race against each other in a series of heats, building to a grand finale and the chance to become Selling Long Haul’s Dragon Boat Team Champions 2013. As well as the races there will be plenty of riverside action too to keep guests entertained, with fun Hong Kong and Macau themed activities designed to bring the flavour of the Far East to East London.
Cheering on dragon boat crews is thirsty work and the event will culminate with a prize-giving ceremony and an early evening BBQ sponsored by Cathay Pacfiic.

This exciting occasion combines a
traditional celebration with an action- packed sporting event.
Legend has it the Dragon Boat festival honours Qu Yuan, an imperial adviser and poet who drowned after throwing himself into a river to protest against corrupt rule. Today, paddlers in long, slender boats with dragon heads and tails race to the beat of pounding drums, in a re-enactment of villagers’
desperate efforts to save Qu Yuan. It’s guaranteed to be a great day, so get your team together and come and join us!
