What makes Inviion unique? We ensure our clients can off er their guests a unique, sustainable and health-enhancing spa experience. We stand for competitive advantage through innovation, using creativity to inspire and add value with the highest standards of quality and energy effi ciency. Inviion has a passion for innovation: our dedicated R&D department is constantly researching new ways to develop spa equipment based on the latest materials, most modern technology and the most innovative features, designs and applications.

Why are heat experiences important to the spa journey? A selection of heat experiences is essential for a holistic spa journey. A future-oriented spa facility needs to combine exciting, new and health-enhancing heat journeys with a variety of spa treatments of the highest quality. Only this combination will create memorable spa time and encourage return visits.

What key factors should be considered when installing a heat experience? Design must always follow function and not the other way around. Too often, beautiful spas are designed without fully considering how the space will work for staff and guests. These will also not work fi nancially.

It is fundamentally important that a clear design concept is in place from the very beginning; that it is both authentic and individual and utilises a variety of experience-boosting elements such as light and colour therapy technology, sound therapy systems, aromatic scents and smart lighting eff ects.

Which recent projects are you most proud of and why? The Mineral Room by Inviion is a sensational new addition to our innovative product portfolio and another of Inviion’s world-fi rsts. Specially selected minerals are infused into a cabin that operates at a radiant heat of approximately 45ºC, accompanied by light and aromatherapy programmes.

What new trends have you seen emerging? There are three key trends. The fi rst is the need for spas to become more sustainable. Another noticeable trend is towards more authentic and natural room design concepts that create a special atmosphere and appeal to all fi ve senses. Finally, there is a strong movement towards

integrating healthcare in a spa setting, and spas that off er a range of treatments focused on preventative health and wellbeing mark an exciting way forward.
