inrail limited

1stinrail is ambitious to continue its success and to consistently ensure excellence in all of its services. The company believes that its business model, company structure, facilities and UK coverage, will ensure this objective.

The continued development of

its personnel - to ensure that they are competent and efficient - is believed by the company to be key to its success, continued growth and sustainability. It has recognised the lack of new, well-trained recruits to the industry, and has therefore committed to a long-term programme of effective, targeted and certifiable training with the development of:

• the Railway Engineering Track

Apprenticeship Programme - a joint initiative with Waltham Forest College

• the Track Worker Training School – City & Guilds accredited.

To tackle potential risk-at-source for

new starters to the UK construction and railway sector, 1stinrail has built and set up a training area which replicates the working environment before deployment to work sites. The training track includes complex track layout, confined space, artificial lighting, platform area (including tactiles and coping stones) and drainage. The company aims to continuously

strive to enhance its performance and the continued success of the business. 1stinrail’s view of all of its clients,

whether specialising in passenger carrying, freight haulage, rapid transit systems, or general construction, is that their business is to have the tracks installed to a high standard and to have trains out and running efficiently. The company sees that its role therefore, is to make sure the tracks it works upon present its clients with the means to provide their service. 1stinrail believes its success is based

upon its desire and efforts to take away clients’ problems and provide a silent service that doesn’t detract from their day-to-day work, essentially allowing them to focus on what they do best, by our focusing on what 1stinrail does best.
