The renaming of the Conference to The Main Event is a very important factor in itself, she says, because the conference is the highlight of the gathering, but it’s foundations are built on the exhibitions, workshops, demonstration kitchens, and networking opportunities – not to mention the Finishing Touches salon culinaire. “We are all in the industry to provide the best possible service to our customers and school children. As individuals, we cannot possibly know everything and so whatever we can learn from each other can only be of benefit to everyone in the end.” She is very keen to get the word out that The Main Event is going to be an exciting and invaluable learning experience for all who attend.
