We have extensive experience in rail, bus, metro and light rail operations and we know that by integrating transport we can make travel easier and more attractive for all. Along with our majority shareholder SNCF, we have wide-ranging high speed expertise and are ambitious for a UK high speed future of increased capacity and reduced


journey times. In the UK, we run four rail franchises in joint ventures: Southern, South Eastern – including the only domestic high speed rail link from Kent to London – London Midland and TransPennine Express. In addition to rail, since November 2012, we have been running the award-winning Nottingham tram system. Keolis UK has an ambititous plan for growth in the UK passenger transport market and as part of this we are seeking the following roles to join our expanding business development team based in central London.


Head of Service Quality – The role is responsible for providing expertise in current and future customer service and quality trends, helping shape Keolis UK’s approach to tenders and bids. Leading the workstream within bids you will also be responsible for researching trends within other sectors and incorporating these into high quality plans that fit the Keolis core vision and values. The successful candidate will be an experienced manager with expertise in the commercial and/ or service quality disciplines. You will have recent experience within passenger transport, ideally with a knowledge of franchise bids and also be EFQM trained.


Timetable Manager – The post is responsible for maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of GB light and heavy rail. You will also ensure that Keolis UK has the appropriate expertise and technology to evaluate timetabling data and maintain a comprehensive database of current timetabling information on anticipated tenders and bids, of which you will be expected to contribute to the development


of. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and practical expertise in the passenger transport timetabling field, with experience of bidding for passenger transport tenders preferable.


Performance Manager – Working closely with the Timetable Manager this position will be responsible for ensuring accurate information and knowledge on all aspects of performance is maintained in anticipation of all tenders and bids. You will also be required to benchmark with other specialists within the group to promote best practices as well as contributing to the development of franchise bids. Expertise within the passenger transport performance field is essential as well as ideally having worked within a bid environment before.


Bid Analyst – This position will work closely with all areas of the business development team providing specialist assessment and analysis for the preparation of bids and tenders. Incorporating all aspects of statistical investigation, data management and report preparation you will also be responsible for


benchmarking key results across the UK passenger transport sector. The successful candidate will be a graduate with a background in engineering, finance or business studies ideally with a focus on transport.


Head of Rail Policy - This key position will support the development of the Keolis portfolio by nurturing strong relationships with key industry bodies and keeping Keolis current with industry trends. With a broad remit supporting all areas of the organisation the ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the UK rail industry and it’s franchising and regulatory structure. You will also have proven management level experience as well as being a strong comminicator, with EFQM training desirable.
