iron jobbing foundry operating in Eastern Canada. The company was created in 1980 as a spin-off from a major machine shop in the beautiful Saguenay region. Keeping pace with modern technology, the foundry’s personnel are always looking for better ways to produce its large diversity of castings. Saguenay Foundry is a great partner and the most logical choice for OEMs who are looking to serve their customers in the after-service markets. We provide a one-stop purchasing ex- perience that can include machining, painting, light assemblies, export packaging and many other features such as drop shipments directly to their customer sites. Our fast turnaround, often less than a month for a fi nished casting, assures your customers shorter downtimes and OEM quality parts at a very reasonable price. This level of service is key in keeping your customers happy all year round and staying in the loop for all their projects. We also can offer inventory programs to help your company manage the most popular items.
Pursuing new venues to better serve our customers, Saguenay Foundry’s management tackled the ever going dilemma of producing very short productions of castings and the rising cost of tooling. They came up with a great solution: Nopatech®. It is a robotic cell that can machine a blank mold into a casting
directly from a 3D CAD fi le. So now you can get a single casting at a fraction of the cost of the typical pattern-casting combo. Delivery is just 1 to 3 weeks from the mo- ment you send your drawing, making this process ideal for prototyping, servicing and very low volume orders.
Saguenay Foundry sells its casting using a well adapted quality system that is certifi ed under ISO 9001: 2008 and Lloyd’s Register. From hardness testing to x-ray, we are always in a position to certify that every casting we produce can meet the toughest specifi cations in the industry.
Call us now and see how Saguenay Foundry can help you differentiate yourself from your competitors.
