Mission Statement

Our vision is to be best-in-class in the market segments we serve. We want to be measured and

recognized as the best by our customers, suppliers, employees and community.

metallurgy, material sciences, and mechanical engineering along with a world-class ERP pro- duction control system allows us to produce better parts for less money with the shortest possible lead times. We specialize in prototypes, short runs and high volume production of brass, bronze and aluminum castings.

Lean. Green. Not a Bit Mean. As lean practitioners, we continually strive to

remove waste from our processes. Our trans- national customers tell us we have the lowest ppm defect rates of all of their non-ferrous foundries worldwide. Repeatability comes from doing each step of

each process precisely the same way whether it is done daily or once a year. We have the most thoroughly documented production control system in the industry.

Global Certifications Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) benefits all of us. To that end, all PPAPs are free of charge for raw castings. Our castings meet the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) so that your product can bear the CE mark for export to Europe and the rest of the world. ISO 9001:2008 registration enables us and our customers to perform in-process certification of pressure components.

Size Matters Castings poured range from 1 to 1200 lbs in brass and bronze and 1 to 600 lbs in aluminum. Mold sizes range up to 30X42 flask size in green sand and up to 4000 lbs Airset mold sand weight.

Shortest Lead Times in the Industry Time is money. We’re fast. Actually, we’re the fastest foundry around. Because we control every step of our process with precision, we

know how long it takes to get the parts to you. When we promise a delivery date we take that promise seriously. Our customers consistently tell us we rank among the best of their suppliers in delivery performance.

If you have an order flow that qualifies for our Kanban program, we can have parts to you the same day you release them. That’s zero days of lead time.

Taking On the Toughest Challenges We specialize in land and maritime military systems and complex, highly demanding, indus- trial castings. Our castings are used in a wide variety of applications including those requiring CE marking, NDT testing, sampling schedules, chemical and physical certifications, plating, polishing, or machining. When it comes to producing double shroud, compound-curved-vane impellers, suction cas- ings, volutes, and discharge fittings, we know them and do them well. Smooth, accurate core processes form vane surfaces that result in higher head pressures and less cavitation, often without the usual secondary vane polishing operations. One stop shopping or any intermediate level of completion that is appropriate for your project is available including machined castings, polishing, plating, painting, powder coating, heat treatment, and assembly.

St. Paul has well over a century of knowledge and experience in land and maritime weapons systems and platforms. Our foundry produces castings for some of the most advanced weap- ons systems in use by our armed forces today.
