London West End’s only independent cinema. The upgrade was needed following the addition of a second cinema screen and new building layout. The two-stage addressable system,

K designed and

installed by Fire Systems Ltd., comprises a Kentec Syncro single loop AS analogue addressable fire alarm control panel with ‘Public’ and ‘Non-Public’ modes and a three-minute timer to give staff time to investigate any alarm. Argus Security wireless detectors are installed on all escape routes and areas of high risk such as plant and machinery rooms, and electrical intake areas. The system, being addressable, means that each device on the new system has a text location message programmed into the fire alarm control panel, enabling staff to identify the precise location of any alarm.
