Electrical Appliances - Electrical appliances including hair dryers, curling irons, razors, radios, heating pads, portable heaters, VCRs, computers and other devices are not permitted in patient rooms. You may use only battery-operated devices.


TV - Televisions are provided free in each patient room. Please be considerate of others and keep the TV volume down. Te sets are controlled by the hand-held remote control Channel listings are located at the back of this book. You can view a variety of patient education videos, plus select from an array of entertainment channels.


Gift Shop - Te hospital’s giſt shop is located in the main lobby area. Flowers, plants, baby items and cloth- ing, toiletries, notions, stationery, toys, games, jewelry, and more are available. Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday


Leave Your Valuables At Home - If you have valu- ables, such as jewelry and cash, please give them to a relative or friend to take care of during your stay. Contact lenses, hearing aids, eyeglasses, and dentures


should be stored in your bedside stand when not in use. Please don’t put them on your bed or food tray— they may be damaged or lost. Sierra Medical Center cannot be responsible for replacement of personal belongings.

Flowers Flowers are brought to your room as they are received.


Where’s the Cafeteria?


LOCATION: Lower Level. For information about serving hours, call Food and Nutrition Services at 915-747-2608.


Visitors are welcome to eat in the cafeteria. Nutritious, reasonably priced meals are available.


ATM For your convenience, an automated teller machine (ATM) is located on the first floor north entrance by Outpatient Registration.
